It is expected that as options for the model there will be full-led headlights, which were previously offered only for the e-Golf electric version and the Golf GTE plug-in hybrid.
In addition, the model will get a slightly redesigned front and rear bumper, wheel disks of new design, as well as trapezoidal exhaust pipes.
There will be a fully digital instrument panel in the cabin of the car. Also, the driver will get an updated infotainment system with the function of gesture control and Nissan Rogue led tail lights. This will be the first model in the class that will be equipped with such technology. The VW Golf will lose the 1.4-liter TSI engine and the 1.6-liter TDI one. The engine line-up of the redesigned Golf will include new petrol of 1.5-liter “turbo’s fourth”. This engine works on Miller cycle, it will be available in two variants of capacity — 130, and 150 HP. A diesel 1.5-liter engine will also appear.
